Cape Flats

Many areas on the Cape Flats, Mitchells Plain being the largest suburb in Cape Town, were created by the Apartheid Government to house “people of colour”. Whilst still recovering from the effects of the Apartheid era , the current Western Cape Government has pledged to invest billions of rands in order to rejuvenate and create jobs in these areas which is helping to drive property prices upwards but there are still many bargain properties to buy.

Whilst there are smaller homes available for great long and short term investment prices there are also spectacular homes with large land for sale at affordable prices. The Cape Flats have an array of schools and shopping centres like Westgate and Promenade Malls in Mitchells Plain , and Vangate Mall in Athlone. Easy access to highways like the N2 and the M5 makes it a centrally located area. Suburbs with properties for sale include the ever growing Athlone, Grassy Park, Pelican Park, Lansdowne, Retreat, Steenberg , Mitchell's Plain, Strandfontein, Blue Downs, Eersteriver and many other.
